New Online Banking Features


What new features will I have with the new Online Banking system?
  • Get up-to-the-minute updates on cashed checks, electronic transactions, in-bank deposits, transfers and Bill Pay transactions (ATM/debit card transactions coming in the near future)
  • View transfer history
  • View deposit ticket images
  • Make overnight bill payments
  • Originate stop payments
  • View stop payment history
  • Access up to six months of account statements with download capability
  • Download account information into personal financial management solutions such as Quicken® and QuickBooks products

New System Access - online banking ID and password


Will my online banking ID and password change?

Yes. You were sent a new online banking ID and temporary password via U.S. Mail. You will need to use this online banking ID and temporary password to reactivate your Online Banking account; at which time you will be prompted to change your password.

Can I change my password?

Yes. After you have logged into the Online Banking system on or after Monday, June 15, 2009, using your online banking ID and temporary password, you will be automatically prompted to change your password. Passwords must be 6 - 8 characters in length and must be alphanumeric. You may want to consider changing your password periodically for your security. This can be done by selecting "options" on the Online Banking navigation bar and completing the information requested to change your password.

Can I change my online banking ID?

Yes. You can create a new online banking ID to replace the 12-digit online banking ID that you have been assigned. Your online banking ID must begin with a letter and may contain numbers. Your online banking ID cannot contain special characters. Select "options" on the online banking navigation bar and complete the information requested to change your online banking ID.

What is the security process?

For enhanced system security, you will be prompted to establish personalized settings by selecting an image and three security questions.

When will the new system be ready to use?

The new Online Banking system will be ready to use at 9:00 am Monday, June 15. Bill Pay will be ready to use at 9:00 am Tuesday, June 16.


Online Banking Functions


Will I have to re-enter any of my one-time or recurring transfers?

All transfers that you scheduled prior to June 3, to occur on any date, have been converted to your new Online Banking account and will be processed as usual.

Will I need to recreate any alerts that I have previously set up?

Yes. You will need to re-create your alerts on the new Online Banking system.


Bill Pay Functions


When will Bill Pay be available on the new system?

Bill Pay will be available at 9:00 am on June 16.

Will I need to re-enter any of my bill payment or payee data?

No. All of your payment and payee information and history has been automatically transferred to the new Online Banking system.

What additional new features will my business have on the new Business Online Banking system?

What does "single sign-on" mean, and how will it change the way I access my business account?

Single sign-on will make it easier for you to access your Business Online Banking account. Instead of having to enter the 12-digit online banking ID and password and your online banking ID and password you will now only be required to enter your single sign-on ID and password.

How do I logon to the new system and establish the single sign on?

The first time you logon, go to our website at www.napacommunitybank.com and click the link to access our new Business Online Banking system (please note that there will only be one logon button for Personal and Business Online Banking) and follow these steps to access your Business Online Banking account and establish your single sign-on:

  1. Enter your new online banking ID, which was sent to you via US Mail.
  2. Enter your temporary password, which was sent to you via US Mail.
    • After you have logged into the Business Online Banking system for the first time, using your online banking ID and temporary password, you will be automatically prompted to change your password*.
  3. Enter your Business Online Banking ID, which is the same as your current User ID on the former Business Online Banking system.
    • Please note that if your existing User ID is longer than 12 characters, you should only enter the first 12 characters.
  4. Enter your temporary Business Online Banking password, which was sent to you via US Mail. Please note that the temporary Business Online Banking password is case sensitive.
    • After you have entered your temporary Business Online Banking ID and temporary Business Online Banking password for the first time, you will be automatically prompted to change your password*.
  5. For enhanced system security, you will be prompted to establish personalized settings:
    • Select an image
    • Establish three security questions
  6. Now you are ready to create your single sign-on user name and password:
    • You will be automatically prompted to create your user name.
      • User names must begin with a letter and may contain numbers. User names cannot contain special characters or spaces.
    • Next you will be automatically prompted to create your password*.
  7. You are ready to begin banking! All future logons will only require your newly created single sign-on user name and password.

* Passwords must be 6 to 8 characters in length and must be alphanumeric.


Administrator Settings/User Access


How do I verify other users' settings on the new Business Online Banking system?

Due to our security measures to protect your privacy, we cannot access your account set-up to review or make changes to any of your settings. Therefore, as the administrator of your Business Online Banking account, you will need to verify any other users' settings. You can access the settings by clicking on the Business Online Banking tab in the new Business Online Banking account and selecting the User option. After you verify the settings, you will need to provide users with their new online banking ID and password.

Are partial administrator rights available on the new Business Online Banking system?

No. The new Business Online Banking system does not have the ability to grant partial administrator rights. If you currently have a user with partial administrator rights and would like them to have access, you will have to set them up with full administrator rights.


Wires Information


Were my wire templates transferred to the new system?

Yes. You should review and validate your wire templates on the new system.


ACH Information


Were my ACH batch templates transferred to the new system?

Yes. You should review and validate your ACH batch templates on the new system.

Will I be able to schedule wire transfers for future dates on the new Business Online Banking system?

No. You will no longer be able to schedule wire transfers for future dates. Any wire transfers scheduled to occur past June 15 will need to be reentered on the date that you wish to initiate the wire.
